General Program Admission Requirements

Academic Standing

Most BA programs require a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 - 3.0 for admission into the College of Education.

Standardized Testing

Submission of SAT/ACT scores. Some states require passing scores on basic skills tests (e.g., Praxis Core).

Background Clearance

Successful completion of state and federal background checks/fingerprinting for field placements.

Clinical Experience

Documented hours of experience working with youth (TLVA provides this through our Summer and Enrichment programs).

Graduate Outcomes

Upon completion of the Future Educator Program, candidates are equipped with the portfolio, experience, and academic standing to succeed in top-tier university programs.
