General Program Admission Requirements
Academic Standing
Most BA programs require a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 - 3.0 for admission into the College of Education.
Standardized Testing
Submission of SAT/ACT scores. Some states require passing scores on basic skills tests (e.g., Praxis Core).
Background Clearance
Successful completion of state and federal background checks/fingerprinting for field placements.
Clinical Experience
Documented hours of experience working with youth (TLVA provides this through our Summer and Enrichment programs).
