Eligibility Requirements

  • Ages 5–17 depending on program track.
  • Must reside in Chicago or surrounding areas.
  • Parent/guardian must complete full enrollment form.
  • Emergency contact + authorized pickup list required.
  • Medical info (allergies, medications) & behavior agreement.

What age groups can enroll?

Our programs serve ages 5–17. Specifically:
Summer Life Skills: Ages 5–14
After-School Enrichment: Ages 6–14
Future Educator "Explore" Track: Ages 15–17

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer flexible weekly or monthly installment plans. You can select "Request Payment Plan" on step 3 of the to see available schedules.

Are programs safe & supervised?

Safety is our priority. All TLVA staff and partners are background-checked via State (ISP) and Federal (FBI) fingerprinting, and are mandated reporters trained in CPR/First Aid.

How do I enroll in the Educator Pathway?

What is required for PEL certification?

To obtain a Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois, you generally need a bachelor’s degree, completion of an approved educator preparation program, and passing scores on ISBE content exams. Verify your status on the ISBE ELIS System .

Can schools partner with TLVA?

Yes. We offer turnkey management for enrichment and staffing solutions. School administrators should use the to request a partnership proposal.

Do you support students with IEPs/504s?

Yes. We believe in inclusive education. Families can upload current IEP/504 documentation during enrollment so our team can create an individualized support plan.
